Korall. Journal for Social History is the forum of social history writing in Hungary, broadly understood. Founded in 1999 and published quarterly since 2000, it is the only Hungarian journal devoted to social history.

Each issue is organised around a theme announced in advance. Alongside the thematic block, every issue offers space to studies on other significant questions, as well as review essays on new Hungarian and international scholarship. Articles are published in Hungarian, each with an English-language abstract; tables of contents and article metadata are available in English.

Over twenty-five years the journal has published more than 1,300 articles by over 700 authors. Every article carries its own DOI and becomes freely available six months after publication.
